JBE Jelly Blue Circle Lens Review

Its been such a long time since I've bought myself a pair of circle lens, but here I come with a review of the JBE Jelly Blue Circle lenses!

My lenses weren't shipped, since my sorority sis is the seller, the lenses were handed to me personally. Each pair you order comes with a free lens case.

Raising up the jars, here's how the lenses look like:

And of course, when its deposited onto the lens case: (the left one is actually overturned)

When worn:

The lens become a dark blue against my dark brown eyes. Not as bright as the photo above, which was actually fine by me because i can wear them everyday and not be bothered that people think I look like an alien.

As compared to my regular eye size:

Huge as compared to my original eye! It has a 16.0mm diameter but it doesn't come off as that imposing probably because it blends well with the original color of my eyes.

You can see the blue more in the above photo because I held up my eyes more to the light (Photo had no flash! I only used my room light.) I thought the effect was very unimposing and more on the natural side.

And finally me with the lenses on:

See? You can't even tell its blue! When I wore this, only one person noticed that my lenses are blue. Now I thought maybe it was too dark to be seen. Kind of disappointed because JBE is said to have more vibrant colors, but well not really for me.

Overall, I like the jelly blue lenses because I can wear them everyday and I had no irritations. As with all circle lenses, my eyes dry up easily but the solution to that is just getting eye drops for contacts.^^

Not really my favorite pair out of my collection (favorite remains to be the fresh grey), but these are a good buy nonetheless.

HOW TO: Open Your Circle Lens Jars!

Hey everyone! This here is just a quick tutorial for all the newbies to opening a circle lens jar.

I have to say when these jars greeted me, I opened them wrong and ended up cutting my finger! Really really careless of me, right? So please be careful and I hope this will help you out.

First things first, look for the arrow on the gray metal right below the lid:

The arrow is an indication of where you should open up the lid. Place your finger under this and pull the rubber lid up.

Do NOT pull the lid all the way over. The lid will act as an opener for the metal ring. Just push the lid sidewards and pull of the entire metal ring over the rubber stopper.

But if you do sadly pull the ring all the way over like this:

Remove the entire lid completely and using a key, slide it in to one of the ends of the metal ring and push it outwards so the ring gets removed. DO NOT use your bare fingers for this, you might cut yourself.

After removing the metal ring, just remove the rubber stopper and voila! Your circle lens are ready to be deposited onto your lens case.

GEO Super Size Angel Brown Review

I got a new pair of circle lens and it arrived last Thursday together with a few cosmetics (reviews on those in the future to come!). I've been wanting to get a brown pair and I took my chances and got one with a 14.8mm diameter. That's pretty big for me since my previous lens which are the GEO Love Violet and GEO Fresh Grey are a mere 14mm and the latter is I think smaller.

I got my lenses from JapCandy and here's how they make sure they don't budge at all:

After you take apart the packaging, here's how it looks like still inside their bottles. The lenses are carefully sealed in so you have to be careful not to cut yourself while opening them.

GEO Fresh Grey Review

Hello everyone! I'm so excited for this review because I have wanted to try CIRCLE LENSES for so long, and I've finally found a good online seller who is easy to talk and makes transactions fast! I'll talk about my bad experience with another online seller next time.
So what are circle lenses? They're basically contact lenses that make your eyes look bigger. Here's an example:

They come in a wide variety of colors, from blue, brown, black, grey, green and purple. I chose this one because I wanted a more subtle effect to just try it out, especially because I'm not used to wearing contact lenses, this was my 1st time to use one. (I suggest that you don't copy me haha because my eyes kept on watering on my first try to put it on)
The circle lens I ordered had a zero grade because I wanted to try the seller if she was reliable or not before getting one with a grade. Shipping was fast, I got the package 2 days right after I paid.

My brand new contacts! They look ordinary, right?

The lens come with a free case, and there's even free shipping if you buy 2 or more.

The grey is ultra-subtle and you won't really notice the difference unless you saw my eyes before I put the contacts on, which is fine for me because I don't really want to vary what I look like that much.

I really like the way they look! I'll definitely re-purchase another set soon, probably in brown but something that gives me a whole different look.
