Whenever I think about Mariah Carey, the first thing that comes into my mind is DIVA. So its really no surprise that OPI gives her a line that's called "Liquid Sand". This is a new variant from OPI which I believe would be coming out more in their collections.
I've been looking for an inexpensive heat protectant product, and luckily I stumbled upon the Prostyle Fuwarie End Curling Mist while strolling around Beauty Bar!
ll be sharing about our trip to Nami Island, which is located outside of Seoul. We had to take a train (different from the subway system, sorry but I forgot the place where we took this, but its the nearest train station from Myeongdong).
Having dark brows and light hair has always been a problem for me. I have always tried to put a little hair dye on my brows (which I do NOT recommend for anyone to do because this may cause severe skin irritation OR burn your skin) to lighten them up, but it hasn't worked.
I finally tried the Sweet Orange shade of the Etude House Bubble Hair Coloring! Its a brighter shade compared to the Natural Brown, and makes your hair tons lighter.

I ordered this set thinking that I could use the Kabuki brush for my MAC press powder (because their powder puff totally sucks) and use the pouch as storage for both. No, so wrong! The pouch and the brush was smaller than I expected. Its about this big:
So there's my 1st mineral make-up experience. I doubt if I'll ever be getting more of these babies because I'm sticking to my chemicals. I'm just glad I got to experience it and judge for myself on what the hype on mineral make-up is all about.
Bazaar starts tomorrow, Oct. 16-18 at 2pm-12mn for early midnight holiday shopping! Perfect for working people who just cannot make those until 8pm closing time of malls. My fave multiply shop, Frou Frou will be there!
But you know all that changed when I encountered Frou Frou, owned by Sheena and Hanna whom I've had the pleasure of meeting at the Rockwell Urban Bazaar. Their dresses are ultra-wearable (ask me if you don't know the meaning of this term) and cost less than the usual dresses we see around.
What's great about this is that they're currently having a sale on ALL THEIR ITEMS, from Sept. 3-15, 2009. I encourage you to look through their stuff because I have already bought 2 dresses from them. The girls are really easy to talk to as well as to contact.

Frupcakes is actually a play on words for fruit cupcakes by Clarissa Banaag (who was my classmate from high school to college), who has built this always fully booked cupcake machine.
What I love about Frupcakes is that you can customize your own according to your taste and she can definitely do any design you choose.

She also does cupcake towers for special occasions such as parties, birthdays, or weddings!
The price of each cupcake is pretty reasonable, it depends on the design you choose like for example you want to have a fondant figure or just icing on top of the cupcake. The cupcakes are soft, and really really yummy! I refuse to get my cupcakes elsewhere. I love her cupcakes so much that I always promote them whenever I can.
My favorite flavors have got to be the Peanut Butter Banana and the Mango Vanilla.

Anyway back to the entries. My father's day gift to my beloved father is his favorite ice cream cake, what The Sweet Life by Ange calls as 'Sweet Surrender'. This is actually brazo de mercedes but layered with graham crackers, ice cream (oh wow who doesn't love ice cream?), custard and meringue. It comes in 4 flavors, strawberry, vanilla, mango or cheese.
I chanced upon this product while going around the Baker's Dozen fair at Powerplant Mall. My blockmates and I love weaving around and about the booths because most offered free tasting! The Sweet Life always has a booth during weekends when the fair was still there and we would occasionally pop around just to get a small scoop of this heavenly concoction.
What I love about this brazo de mercedes is that its not too puffy. I know that the idea of eating the brazo is basically like eating sweet air but that's really not my thing. The Sweet Life's brazo is subtly flavored, its not nakakasuya nor is it too crusty. Unfortunately when you buy this product you have to take it home and store it in your freezer because it IS ice cream, therefore it will definitely melt.
You can also try The Sweet Life's other products, they have cute-looking cupcakes with adorable names such as Marie Antoinette, which I've tried as well because my friends gave me one for my birthday.:)
