OPI LIQUID SAND 'THE IMPOSSIBLE' (LIMITED EDITION MARIAH CAREY) REVIEW

Whenever I think about Mariah Carey, the first thing that comes into my mind is DIVA. So its really no surprise that OPI gives her a line that's called "Liquid Sand". This is a new variant from OPI which I believe would be coming out more in their collections.

PROSTYLE FUWARIE END CURLING MIST REVIEW

I've been looking for an inexpensive heat protectant product, and luckily I stumbled upon the Prostyle Fuwarie End Curling Mist while strolling around Beauty Bar!

Korea Post #3: (Must-See Places!) Nami Island

ll be sharing about our trip to Nami Island, which is located outside of Seoul. We had to take a train (different from the subway system, sorry but I forgot the place where we took this, but its the nearest train station from Myeongdong).

MAJOLICA MAJORCA LASH and BROW COLORIST REVIEW

Having dark brows and light hair has always been a problem for me. I have always tried to put a little hair dye on my brows (which I do NOT recommend for anyone to do because this may cause severe skin irritation OR burn your skin) to lighten them up, but it hasn't worked.

ETUDE HOUSE BUBBLE HAIR COLORING IN SWEET ORANGE REVIEW

I finally tried the Sweet Orange shade of the Etude House Bubble Hair Coloring! Its a brighter shade compared to the Natural Brown, and makes your hair tons lighter.

Prostyle Fuwarie End Curling Mist Review

Ever since I started working, I've tried to make an effort on styling my hair. Gone are the days of simply drying my hair with the electric fan (bad habit lol), now I blow dry my hair then use an iron.

I've been looking for an inexpensive heat protectant product, and luckily I stumbled upon the Prostyle Fuwarie End Curling Mist while strolling around Beauty Bar!

What Prostyle Fuwarie says:

Spray mist on to hair until slightly damp and style using your styling iron.
Prevents hair burn/blisters
Protects hair cuticles from the heat of hair styling tools
Prevents hair breakage
Prevents hair discoloration caused by heat
Sets the hair as styled and keep it curled longer
Enhanced with Amino Acid to repair damaged cuticles for beautiful and shiny hair
Protects against UV rays
Has a slightly fruit scent
The Prostyle Fuwarie Mists has 3 variants:

The black is for Straight and Smooth, the white is for Curly and Bouncy, and the purple (which I have), is for Airy Bob.

The spray has a slide locking mechanism, so you don't waste any product by accidentally spraying it! Just slide to open:

Voila! Spray to your heart's content!

I honestly have never tried any other heat protectant sprays, but I am in loooove with this one. Not only does it protect your hair from the heat, it keeps the style in place and makes my layers more prominent.

I also feel that my hair was better protected whenever I spray this before ironing my hair. My hair hasn't dried out nor has it discolored and I iron my hair almost everyday!

I got the AIRY BOB HAIRSTYLE variant because I wanted to keep the volume of my hair intact. I don't want hair that's too straight. But once I'm done with this bottle I will probably try the other variant, especially the one for straight hairstyles.

The fruity scent isn't overpowering. This is a definite plus! Some hair products have overwhelming smells and just overpower the perfume or cologne you're wearing.

The Prostyle Fuwarie End Curling Mist is available in Beauty Bar stores for only Php 450.00. See? Such a bargain for such a great product!

Pantene Nature Care Review

I don't usually review shampoos/conditioners here on my blog because I usually rotate through different products whenever I run out. My hair is so thick but its so straight that I find it hard to find the ONE to stick to.

All these changed when I tried out the PANTENE Nature Care line. I don't know if I'm a bit behind on this post, but this set changed my life, and I'm not exaggerating! Gone are the days when I had to use sticky serum on my hands just to get my hair look manageable.

PANTENE promises that this line will bring more shine and volume to your hair, were they right?

Before I go on to the actual merits of this line, I have to say first that I love love looove the scent! It's fresh and stays on your hair for most of the day. The line is also not heavy on the pocket.
PANTENE Nature Care Shampoo
The shampoo cleanses gently and isn't harsh at all. It has Cassia flower seed essence and washes out dullness in your hair. After using this, my hair has definite added volume and doesn't look too flat as it usually does.
PANTENE Nature Care Conditioner
I always believe in layering your products so you can make the best out of its effectivity. The conditioner promises to remove frizz and add shine! It has a unique dual-surfactant technology that creates and "air film" which separates hair strands so the conditioner spreads evenly, making hair bouncier.
PANTENE Nature Care Intensive Penetrating Treatment (P149)
Girls, you NEED to put treatment into your hair at least once a week. This is the secret to having healthier hair! Out of all the home treatments I've tried, this guy brings it all down. Hair smells great, feels soft and doesn't look kachupoy.

And now...of course I should post some results of how my hair looks life after using these products for some time now. I love using this line, and I do suggest you try it as well! It brings in the results that I have never seen from other hair products that promise you the world in TV commercials.

My hair was becoming thinner because of the type of hair cut I got and wouldn't grow evenly. But after using the treatment, volume was restored!

Straight and bouncy hair! Love eeet! I didn't use any additional product to make it look like this. I literally just combed it!

PANTENE Nature Care is available in all leading supermarkets and drugstores.

Keeping Hair Healthy Part 1

A lot of Filipinas have a constant problem of frizz in their hair, due to the outpouring of humidity we experience everyday. There are also so many women who have yet to reach the prime of their lives, but have thinning hair at the top of their heads. The solution? Its just using your shampoo and conditioner the right way and finding the right products for what your hair needs.
I love coloring my hair using a home coloring kit (this is usually Revlon Colorsilk because its the cheapest foreign brand available here but more on that for future posts), therefore the color doesn't last as long as salon color does. Give it around 4 weeks and the strands start becoming dull. To brighten and get as much as I can from my color, I use a shampoo and conditioner especially made for colored hair, specifically Redken Color Extend. I got these 2 babies in a trip to the US and they have certainly extended my color as the bottle promised.
What's the lesson here? Get the proper hair product according to your type! Yes, sometimes it may take a bit out of your pocket but the thing is, healthy hair is a great investment as opposed to taking constant trips to the salon having your hair rebonded or chemically
manipulated which may damage it more. Remember, invest in a good, go-to product that you trust in times of rescession!
Frizzy? Go for a hydrating solution. Try Sebastian Drench (love the name!) which not only tames your frizzes, but is also color-safe. If you want something more practical, go for Herbal Essences' Hydralicious. It has a specific shampoo that hydrates specific areas of your hair OR for those with thin hair, comes as non-heavy, OR, reconditions. Talk about real customization! It also smells heavenly and is so cute to look at as opposed to the beauty salon products. These Herbal Essences products also have little trivias at the back which makes it a little more entertaining than your ordinary shampoo and conditioner.
I'll be writing soon about other recommended hair products for those with thin hair, and for those who have curly thick hair. Stay posted!
