OPI LIQUID SAND 'THE IMPOSSIBLE' (LIMITED EDITION MARIAH CAREY) REVIEW

Whenever I think about Mariah Carey, the first thing that comes into my mind is DIVA. So its really no surprise that OPI gives her a line that's called "Liquid Sand". This is a new variant from OPI which I believe would be coming out more in their collections.

I've been looking for an inexpensive heat protectant product, and luckily I stumbled upon the Prostyle Fuwarie End Curling Mist while strolling around Beauty Bar!

Korea Post #3: (Must-See Places!) Nami Island

ll be sharing about our trip to Nami Island, which is located outside of Seoul. We had to take a train (different from the subway system, sorry but I forgot the place where we took this, but its the nearest train station from Myeongdong).

MAJOLICA MAJORCA LASH and BROW COLORIST REVIEW

Having dark brows and light hair has always been a problem for me. I have always tried to put a little hair dye on my brows (which I do NOT recommend for anyone to do because this may cause severe skin irritation OR burn your skin) to lighten them up, but it hasn't worked.

ETUDE HOUSE BUBBLE HAIR COLORING IN SWEET ORANGE REVIEW

Etude House Missing U Hand Cream Review

Have you guys seen Etude House's newest set of animals to grace their hand creams?
Isn't he suuuuuper cute?!!?!?!? GAAAAAAH CUTEST HAND CREAM EVER!

This little guy is a Harp Seal! Etude House launched a set of hand creams as well as lip balms that features four endangered species, namely the Harp Seal (Green Tea), Fairy Penguin (Baby Powder), Panda (Peach) and the Pink Dolphin (Cherry Blossom).

What Etude House says:
Missing U Hand Cream is formulated with natural mixture of herbs, Shea Butter and Olives to moisturize, heal and soothe hands.
Pear shaped container features one of four available endangered or near endangered animal friends
Directions: Apply cream onto palm and rub hands together, massaging to all areas: palms, wrists and fingers. Also applicable to arms.
This hand cream is pretty small, as all Etude House hand creams are:

Inside the seal is a plastic cover for hygienic purposes:

Lift up the plastic cover and smell how good it is!!!
The hand cream gets absorbed easily when you rub it on your skin, the green tea smell isn't overpowering. The smell also disappears after a few seconds (or maybe I washed my hands too soon after testing it out).
A percentage of the profits of these hand creams and lip balms go to save the endangered species they feature. So you get a nice hand cream plus help out the animals!

The Etude House Missing U Hand Cream is available at any Etude House store at P278!

And lastly, I couldn't resist taking a snapshot of my own baby seal and the new addition to the seal family:
Happy Holidays everyone!!!^^ Stay warm!

Belo Essentials Night Therapy Whitening Cream and Whitening Lotion SPF 15 with Dermlight Skin System Review

Since I got super tanned from my sembreak vacation and several degrees away from my natural color, I went ahead and bought the Belo Essentials Night Therapy Whitening Cream. As mentioned in a past entry, I've already tried using it (I usually buy whitening products for maintenance) in its small form, so now I tried the tub form!
This is affordable, this I got for only P125, and has 50g of product.
What Belo says:
This moisturizing night cream is specifically infused with our unique Dermlight Skin System that naturally lightens skin and fruit extracts that makes skin feel soft and smooth.
Reduces skin darkening by inhibiting tyrosinase, which leads to melanin build-up. This ensures faster, more visible whitening results.
A blend of fruit extracts from apricot, palm tree and rose hips which contains 20 times more Vitamin C than citrus fruits that hydrates skin and inhibits the formation of free radicals which can cause premature skin aging.
Contains Pentavitin and skin vitamins for overnight moisture and skin radiance. Also with Chamomile extract that soothes and protects skin from irritation.
I also thought that the cream is VERY HYGIENIC, it has its own spatula and separate cover:

The directions for using this involves using the spatula to scoop the desired amount for your face and neck.

I am also fond of using the Belo Essentials Whitening Lotion SPF 15 with Dermlight Skin System:
I like using this better than the SkinWhite lotions, because the latter has a sticky and gummy feel while the former doesn't. This glides on the skin better and is easier to squeeze out of its bottle.
What Belo says:
With reinforced sunscreen that protects skin from harmful UV rays, this body lotion lightens your skin naturally and safely with its Dermlight Skin System - a combination of alpine plant extracts, California prune fruit pulp, and skin vitamins.
With sunscreen that shields skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays. Reduces skin darkening by inhibiting tyrosinase, which leads to melanin build-up. This ensures faster, more visible whitening results.
With Pentavitin that provides longer lasting moisture. Chamomile extracts soothes skin and shields it from irritation.

The ultimate question has to be whether these actually help whiten me or not. Yes, the Belo Essentials whitening line does work because prior to my ultra-tanned days, the cream helped lighten the dark spots on my face and on my arms. This has to be the best, affordable whitening product for me.

Tried any whitening products? What's the best for you?

SkinWhite Whitening Hand and Body Lotion

I love checking out products made by Filipinos, and I particularly love to scour around HBC (Health & Beauty Exclusives) looking for cheap thrills for just about anything. When I wanted my hair to be a shade lighter, I turned to Kolours (made by the wonderful Splash Corp) because my friend told me that their colors are vibrant and definitely less pricier than the usual home colors. Results were good so I never turn down an opportunity to try out any of their products.

Today I turned to SkinWhite, because I saw a couple of ladies in a supermarket getting this product as their lotion of choice so I said, why not try it out?
Their Whitening Hand and Body Lotion is available in 4 variants: Cooling, Classic SPF 10, Classic SPF 20, and Ultra-Hydrating.  I got the Cooling one since its summer. That's the 1st bottle in the picture.
Bottle says:
Rich creamy formulation
Promotes fairer, whiter, more vibrant, healthy glowing skin in as early as 2 weeks.
SPF protects skin from sun-damage caused by prolonged sun exposure.
Dermatologist Tested Safe and Effective

When I initially applied it on my skin, it has a compact texture and you need to squeeze a medium amount to cover an entire arm. It contained some microbeads which I guess is the "cooling" part, and I did feel more refreshed than usual after taking a shower. I like the smell, I keep smelling myself until now haha. Though it says NON-GREASY FORMULA on the bottle, it felt a bit gummy on my hands. But it disappeared after a few minutes when the lotion was absorbed.
As for the whitening, I'm not sure how great I am to review whitening products, since I'm fair-skinned, and I bought this to maintain my color because I already use a whitening product for my face so I wanted to also use one for my body. But we'll see if I get any whiter in a few days! (Note: the girls I saw purchasing this were morenas, so maybe it does work for them)
SkinWhite Hand and Body Whitening Lotion (100ml) costs PHP72.75 in HBC stores and other supermarkets. Available in 50ml, 100ml, 200ml and 350ml bottles.

Yes I will possibly re-purchase! I really like how the lotion smells--can you say I'm already obsessed with it?
