OPI LIQUID SAND 'THE IMPOSSIBLE' (LIMITED EDITION MARIAH CAREY) REVIEW

Whenever I think about Mariah Carey, the first thing that comes into my mind is DIVA. So its really no surprise that OPI gives her a line that's called "Liquid Sand". This is a new variant from OPI which I believe would be coming out more in their collections.

Korea Post #3: (Must-See Places!) Nami Island

ll be sharing about our trip to Nami Island, which is located outside of Seoul. We had to take a train (different from the subway system, sorry but I forgot the place where we took this, but its the nearest train station from Myeongdong).

MAJOLICA MAJORCA LASH and BROW COLORIST REVIEW

Having dark brows and light hair has always been a problem for me. I have always tried to put a little hair dye on my brows (which I do NOT recommend for anyone to do because this may cause severe skin irritation OR burn your skin) to lighten them up, but it hasn't worked.

ETUDE HOUSE BUBBLE HAIR COLORING IN SWEET ORANGE REVIEW

Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Body Scrub: Scrubbing Your Way to a Whiter You

I'm not a body scrub person, at all but in times of desperation in trying to get my fair skin back I had to try other products. Here comes Asian Secrets, which is actually a lulur whitening body scrub.
What Asian Secrets say:
Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Body Scrub is a beauty treatment inspired by a most luxurious Javanese ritual called Lulur. The ritual was originally intended for the bride-to-be in order to beautify, smoothen, and whiten her skin before her wedding day. Lulur originated from the royal palaces of Java, Indonesia and products inspired by this traditional treatment are still used by Indonesian women today.
Doesn't that sound really luxurious that you might think its going to come at an expensive price? The benefits of this scrub is that it actually does all these things:
The product gently exfoliates the skin and removes dead skin cells as it softens the skin giving it a nice and radiant glow.
Frequent usage reduces skin pigmentation, evening out our skin tone by getting rid of dark patches especially in areas prone to darkening such as elbows, knees, armpits and area between the thighs.
It contains Vitamin E and Green Tea Extract, which are powerful antioxidants that protects the skin from free radicals keeping it healthy and young-looking.
It also has Squalene and Olive Oil which will aid in maintaining the moisture to our skin.
Here's a photo of  my almost-empty small tub! I finished this up quickly, I have to say.
I used this for my whole body, and not just only for those "dark areas" such as for your elbows or knees, which is why this lasted for a short while. Its not rough at all and I loved the experience of using it. Its a bit time consuming to use this, because you have to scoop up the product, apply it on your skin, and scrub-a-dub-dub in a circular motion.

I also love the smell--it smells like sampaguita! Although I think its jasmine. It stays on your skin for quite awhile after your bath. I keep smelling myself after I take a bath.

Of course the ultimate question is whether it delivered results. Did I whiten after using it? YES! My skin is now just a shade short of my natural skin color and I'll be buying myself a new tub soon because I've already used up the first one. When I used this on my underarms, it not only whitened it, but it also smoothened it.

Some people still use soap after using the scrub, but I don't because I don't want the smell to go away. Yes it smells that goooood!

Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Body Scrub is available at 135g at for only P80 and 250g for only P130 at any Watson's!

Suggestion to the people who brought this product in, please package this at bigger tubs!

Belo Essentials Night Therapy Whitening Cream and Whitening Lotion SPF 15 with Dermlight Skin System Review

Since I got super tanned from my sembreak vacation and several degrees away from my natural color, I went ahead and bought the Belo Essentials Night Therapy Whitening Cream. As mentioned in a past entry, I've already tried using it (I usually buy whitening products for maintenance) in its small form, so now I tried the tub form!
This is affordable, this I got for only P125, and has 50g of product.
What Belo says:
This moisturizing night cream is specifically infused with our unique Dermlight Skin System that naturally lightens skin and fruit extracts that makes skin feel soft and smooth.
Reduces skin darkening by inhibiting tyrosinase, which leads to melanin build-up. This ensures faster, more visible whitening results.
A blend of fruit extracts from apricot, palm tree and rose hips which contains 20 times more Vitamin C than citrus fruits that hydrates skin and inhibits the formation of free radicals which can cause premature skin aging.
Contains Pentavitin and skin vitamins for overnight moisture and skin radiance. Also with Chamomile extract that soothes and protects skin from irritation.
I also thought that the cream is VERY HYGIENIC, it has its own spatula and separate cover:

The directions for using this involves using the spatula to scoop the desired amount for your face and neck.

I am also fond of using the Belo Essentials Whitening Lotion SPF 15 with Dermlight Skin System:
I like using this better than the SkinWhite lotions, because the latter has a sticky and gummy feel while the former doesn't. This glides on the skin better and is easier to squeeze out of its bottle.
What Belo says:
With reinforced sunscreen that protects skin from harmful UV rays, this body lotion lightens your skin naturally and safely with its Dermlight Skin System - a combination of alpine plant extracts, California prune fruit pulp, and skin vitamins.
With sunscreen that shields skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays. Reduces skin darkening by inhibiting tyrosinase, which leads to melanin build-up. This ensures faster, more visible whitening results.
With Pentavitin that provides longer lasting moisture. Chamomile extracts soothes skin and shields it from irritation.

The ultimate question has to be whether these actually help whiten me or not. Yes, the Belo Essentials whitening line does work because prior to my ultra-tanned days, the cream helped lighten the dark spots on my face and on my arms. This has to be the best, affordable whitening product for me.

Tried any whitening products? What's the best for you?
