OPI LIQUID SAND 'THE IMPOSSIBLE' (LIMITED EDITION MARIAH CAREY) REVIEW

Whenever I think about Mariah Carey, the first thing that comes into my mind is DIVA. So its really no surprise that OPI gives her a line that's called "Liquid Sand". This is a new variant from OPI which I believe would be coming out more in their collections.

PROSTYLE FUWARIE END CURLING MIST REVIEW

I've been looking for an inexpensive heat protectant product, and luckily I stumbled upon the Prostyle Fuwarie End Curling Mist while strolling around Beauty Bar!

Korea Post #3: (Must-See Places!) Nami Island

ll be sharing about our trip to Nami Island, which is located outside of Seoul. We had to take a train (different from the subway system, sorry but I forgot the place where we took this, but its the nearest train station from Myeongdong).

MAJOLICA MAJORCA LASH and BROW COLORIST REVIEW

Having dark brows and light hair has always been a problem for me. I have always tried to put a little hair dye on my brows (which I do NOT recommend for anyone to do because this may cause severe skin irritation OR burn your skin) to lighten them up, but it hasn't worked.

ETUDE HOUSE BUBBLE HAIR COLORING IN SWEET ORANGE REVIEW

I finally tried the Sweet Orange shade of the Etude House Bubble Hair Coloring! Its a brighter shade compared to the Natural Brown, and makes your hair tons lighter.

I got the shade called "The Impossible" (so arte hahaha), which is a sandy-textured bright red with flecks of dots and stars. On the bottle its so RED. I only have 1 red nail polish also from OPI and I thought it was high time I buy another.

I just love how OPI names their shades! It definitely makes picking out colors more fun.

When applied, its not at all red. It comes off very very light, and I used 3 coats to get it to this color. Then again, its more of a glittery hot pink. Not really the color I expected to come out, but I have to say the color and texture was very interesting.

When you touch it, it actually feels like sand art. Remember when those were a thing?

Its very pretty when on your nails, suits my skin tone well (makes your fingers look cleaner), and its something different. I do recommend that you try this even once if you like glittery polish. The color isn't that crazy that its too eye-catching, but the sparkles do give it a more special feel.

OPI Liquid Sand 'The Impossible' is available through Digital Traincase for only Php 420.00.

Prostyle Fuwarie End Curling Mist Review

Ever since I started working, I've tried to make an effort on styling my hair. Gone are the days of simply drying my hair with the electric fan (bad habit lol), now I blow dry my hair then use an iron.

I've been looking for an inexpensive heat protectant product, and luckily I stumbled upon the Prostyle Fuwarie End Curling Mist while strolling around Beauty Bar!

What Prostyle Fuwarie says:

Spray mist on to hair until slightly damp and style using your styling iron.
Prevents hair burn/blisters
Protects hair cuticles from the heat of hair styling tools
Prevents hair breakage
Prevents hair discoloration caused by heat
Sets the hair as styled and keep it curled longer
Enhanced with Amino Acid to repair damaged cuticles for beautiful and shiny hair
Protects against UV rays
Has a slightly fruit scent
The Prostyle Fuwarie Mists has 3 variants:

The black is for Straight and Smooth, the white is for Curly and Bouncy, and the purple (which I have), is for Airy Bob.

The spray has a slide locking mechanism, so you don't waste any product by accidentally spraying it! Just slide to open:

Voila! Spray to your heart's content!

I honestly have never tried any other heat protectant sprays, but I am in loooove with this one. Not only does it protect your hair from the heat, it keeps the style in place and makes my layers more prominent.

I also feel that my hair was better protected whenever I spray this before ironing my hair. My hair hasn't dried out nor has it discolored and I iron my hair almost everyday!

I got the AIRY BOB HAIRSTYLE variant because I wanted to keep the volume of my hair intact. I don't want hair that's too straight. But once I'm done with this bottle I will probably try the other variant, especially the one for straight hairstyles.

The fruity scent isn't overpowering. This is a definite plus! Some hair products have overwhelming smells and just overpower the perfume or cologne you're wearing.

The Prostyle Fuwarie End Curling Mist is available in Beauty Bar stores for only Php 450.00. See? Such a bargain for such a great product!

Urban Decay's NAKED 2 Palette Review

I know there are have been plenty of reviews out there regarding this palette. But really, what's one more rave, right? Just goes to how wonderful this palette really is!

I got Urban Decay's NAKED 2 palette as a graduation present from my aunt. I was so excited to open it up, it was all sturdy and shiny in its packaging! The palette also has gorgeous colors which prove that neutrals are not boring.

What Urban Decay says:

You demanded it--more NAKED shades to obsess over. This latest collection of twelve never-boring neutrals (5 of them NEW!) in matte, shimmer and glitter textures expands your range of sultry looks.

The NAKED 2 palette comes with a double-ended full size Crease & Shadow Brush, which is very handy.

The Shadow brush end is a nice flat brush with soft bristles. Its very handy in applying color directly to the lids.

The Crease end was very fluffy, love using this to blend all the colors together.

The palette also comes with a Lip Junkie Lipgloss in Naked. Its a lip plumper and has a cooling effect when applied to the lips.

The shade is a pinky neutral, perfect for pairing with those smokey eyes you can create with this palette!

Let's get on with the palette! Its encased in a thick brown casing, feels sturdy and not too bulky. The casing is still slim enough to be brought on trips, but I doubt you can bring this along with your everyday make-up bag.

The shades range in different textures: there are matte, shimmer and glitter. There are 12 colors all in all,  and there is a lot of product in each container. The shades are also highly pigmented, a definite plus!

Out of the first 6 shades, Foxy is my favorite as a brow highlighter. I use it all the time. Chopper and Snakebite are also tops for just swiping on and going. I usually wear both these shades on their own.

On this side, my faves are Suspect and Busted. I combine them together for a more subdued smokey eye you can wear for work.

The shades are creamy and don't crease. You can also build up the intensity of the colors for the sheerer shades.

The NAKED 2 Palette is a must-own for anyone who loves neutrals. Its also perfect for the working person, since you can use a range of colors that are work-appropriate and don't have to go crazy. The neutrals are also versatile for any look you're going for.

I got my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette from Sephora, which retails for only $50.00, but there are a lot of online sellers out there who have this one available in the Philippines!

Majolica Majorca Lash & Brow Colorist Review

Having dark brows and light hair has always been a problem for me. I have always tried to put a little hair dye on my brows (which I do NOT recommend for anyone to do because this may cause severe skin irritation OR burn your skin) to lighten them up, but it hasn't worked.

I've also gone the eyebrow pencil route but couldn't seem to make them look natural! Thank God I stumbled upon the Majolica Majorca Lash & Brow Colorist in BR333.

What Majolica Majorca says:

A new item to color both brows and lashes.
Soften and lighten up coloring for both eyebrows and lashes! Match your hair color or makeup. Doesn't clump and achieves a fluffy finish waterproof resist sweat, sebum, and tear. Contains Vitamin E and Macadamia nuts oil.
This waterproof formula is resistant to sweat, sebum and tears.
[To use.]
- Use as Brow colorist and mascara.
- Use Majolica Majorica Eyes Reset Gel or an oil-based eye makeup remover to remove. Do not rub to remove. Instead, thoroughly work the remover into your lashes and wipe off gently.
As Brow colorist
Take up an optimal amount with the brush and apply in the direction of hair growth.
As Mascara
Move the brush in a sideways, zigzag motion, working from the base of the lashes and pushing up to get the mascara all the way to the ends.
Use the tip of the brush when applying mascara to the inner and outer corners of the eyes, as well as the lashes.

Here's the closer look at the nice details of the product:

The brush looks like your typical mascara wand. BR333 (Vanilla Brown) is the lighter of 2 shades available, the other being BR555 (Maroon Brown). The latter is a darker, a bit reddish brown while the former, which I have, is a lighter blonde-ish shade.

The far-apart bristles makes it easier to brush it on to your brows. Remember though, this just colors your hair, and doesn't groom it. So make sure your brows are groomed well when applying!

I really love this product and recommend it to everyone! I love the lightening effect, and the shade of my hair and brows aren't mismatched anymore.

I also love the consistency of the formula. I've been using this for over 3 months and it hasn't dried up (as compared to other mascara formulas) and can still be applied easily as if you've bought it brand new. Since I have full brows, I don't need need to fill in the sparse areas anymore and just use this.

It also looks very natural, and you don't have to pay a hefty price to color your brows. I say its definitely a winner!

Majolica Majorca Lash & Brow Colorist is available in SM Department Stores or Watsons for only P595.00!

Etude House Bubble Hair Coloring in Sweet Orange Review

Hello everyone! After...hmmm let me see, almost 5 months of not posting, I come back with a hair color post which I know you all love. I have to say it took me quite some time to do this entry. I think I colored my hair this shade around a month or more ago.

I've already tried another shade of this hair color, which is Wine Red. Sadly I was unable to document it because I did it during bar review (go figure :p).

This here is Etude House Bubble Hair Coloring in Sweet Orange.

On the top of the box, here is how your hair should turn out:

Promising, right? Well my only worry was that my head would literally look like an orange. But the SA assured me that it would just turn my hair into a lighter shade so I bought it!

It contains the usuals of all Etude House Bubble Hair Colors:

You have your color developer, the hair dye, the plastic cape plus gloves, and the hair treatment sachet. If you need instructions on HOW to use this hair color, please refer to my post HERE. :)

The result? Here you go:

Sweet Orange seems to be a lighter lighter version of Natural Brown, and it keeps lightening as the days go by. If you're not a fan of light hair, don't buy this!

I expected this shade to be brighter, but its actually more subdued than it is on the box. Then again, hair color differs in shade depending on the tone of your hair. I like this better than Natural Brown!

Remember, these bubble hair colors get out of stock quickly, so if you see yourself a box, don't hesitate and just buy already.

Etude House Bubble Hair Coloring in Sweet Orange is available in any Etude House branch (SM Megamall, SM The Block, Market Market!) for only P378.00!
